The Indian smartphone maker Micromax has finally been
launched a new flagship device in India today named Micromax Canvas Infinity.
The device highlights with its 16-megapixel selfie camera, and it's 18:9
display ratio setup. The Canvas Infinity is an Amazon India exclusive and the
registrations for the first sale on September 1 held at 12 pm IST has begun
from August 22. The phone will be available offline at a later date. The
flagship is priced at Rs.9,999.
The Micromax Canvas Infinity has a full metal body that
reflects a premium look. It comes with a 5.7-inch HD IPS display (1440 x 720
pixels) with 18:9 aspect ratio. Canvas Infinity is powered by Qualcomm’s
Snapdragon 425 processor coupled with Adreno 308 GPU and 3GB of RAM for
smoother performance. The device packs a 32GB of internal memory capacity for
installing apps and data with an expandable memory up to 128GB using a
dedicated microSD card slot.
The smartphone sports a 13-megapixel sensor with flash support
which helps in capturing the pictures in low light conditions. Micromax also
confirmed that the Canvas Infinity would get the Android 8.0 Oreo update soon.
The device backed by a 2,900mAh battery. The Connectivity
options on the flagship device include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n,
GPS, A-GPS, OTG support (up to 64GB) and the 3.5mm audio jack sits on the top
edge of the smartphone. The sensors on the smartphone include an accelerometer,
proximity, light, Gyroscope and magnetic sensors.
