A new selfie focused smartphone from Vivo has launched in
India on Friday named as Vivo Y69. The smartphone sports a 13 MP camera at the
back with “Live Photo” feature and a 16 MP Moonlight Selfie Camera with f/2.0
aperture and "group selfie" mode.
The device has a 5.5-inch HD IPS (1280 x 720 pixels) display
with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. Vivo Y69 runs Funtouch OS 3.2
based on Android 7.0 Nougat and is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek
MT6570 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory storage.
The smartphone is powered by a 3000mAh battery that lasts
for a day long with heavy usage. It has dual SIM card slots and a separate
micro SD card slot to expand storage up to 256GB. It measures 154.60 x 75.70 x
7.70mm and weighs 162.80 grams.
Connectivity options in the device include 4G, Wi-Fi, GPS,
Bluetooth, FM, and USB OTG. Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer,
Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer and Gyroscope. The Vivo
Y69 price in India is Rs.14,990, and the device will go on sale from September
1 on the popular e-commerce sites Amazon and Flipkart. The smartphone will be
available in Champagne Gold and Matte Black colour variants.
