Intex has launched a new budget smartphone in its Aqua series, named the Aqua 5.5 VR+. The device is a successor to last year's Aqua 5.5 VR smartphone. The Intex Aqua 5.5 VR+ comes with VR headset and 3D content on the device.

The Intex Aqua 5.5 VR+ runs on Android 7.0 Nougat Operating System out of the box. The Intex Aqua 5.5 VR+ comes with 16GB of internal storage, which is expandable further up to 128GB using a microSD card. The device sports a 5.5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The device measures 153×77.5×10.3mm and weigh 176g.
The flagship is powered by a 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek processor clocked with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The Intex Aqua 5.5 VR+ comes with an 8-megapixel primary rear camera with dual LED Flash and a 5-megapixel shooter at the front with LED Flash for video calling and taking selfies. The connectivity options offered by the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. The dual-SIM Aqua 5.5 VR+ is backed by 2800mAh battery.

The smartphone is priced at Rs. 5,799 which comes in Champagne colour and will be exclusively available on Flipkart.
